Yehuda Shoenfeld

I have headed, since 1984 until March 2011, a Department of Medicine, and until 2018. I headed The Center for Autoimmune Diseases, which I founded and also directed since 1985 - 2017, in the largest hospital in Israel, the Sheba Medical Center, which is affiliated with the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University. Additionally, I was the Incumbent of the Laura Schwarz-Kipp Chair for Research of Autoimmune Diseases at Tel-Aviv University. In 2019, I was appointed as a Member of The Israely Academy of Sciences and Humanity. My works have been cited more than 130,000 times. The H Index is > 130, 1% of upper citation in the world. I have authored and edited 35 books, such as "The Mosaic of Autoimmunity", the textbooks "Autoantibodies" and "Diagnostic Criteria for Autoimmune Diseases". I am on the editorial board of 32 journals in the field of autoimmunity and rheumatology, and am the founding editor of the "IMAJ" (Israel Medical Association Journal). I have written more than four hundreds of chapters in medical books. I have published on the issue of vaccination and autoimmunity
